Joni Mitchell is celebrating a long-awaited milestone!
On Tuesday (October 13), the 82-year-old Grammy-winning singer/songwriter announced that she has finally become an American citizen, more than six decades after she first started the process.
“A journey that began 62 years ago,” Joni wrote on Instagram along with a photo of herself smiling and waving a small American flag.
