Jeff Goldblum has announced a new album, Still Blooming.

Due out April 25th, the actor and musician’s fourth record gathers a collection of new interpretations of jazz, Broadway and big band classics, recorded with his longtime band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. The first single from the album, a cover of Frank Sinatra’s “The Best Is Yet to Come,” features actress and singer Scarlett Johansson.

The record also features two of Goldblum’s Wicked co-stars, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Grande joins Goldblum on the opening track, “I Don’t Know Why (I Just Do),” while Erivo contributes to a rendition of “We’ll Meet Again.” He also invites performer Maiya Sykes to join him for the jazz standard “Stella By Starlight.” Goldblum himself sings on the record’s closing track “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye.”

Over the course of his music career (which began with regular performances at Los Angeles’ Rockwell Table and Stage), Goldblum has collaborated with the likes of Norah Jones, Randy Newman and more. He released his debut album, The Capitol Studio Sessions, in 2018—his most recent EP, Plays Well With Others, came out in 2023.

The announcement of Still Blooming kicks off what’s already set to be a big year for Goldblum. The highly-anticipated second installment of Jon M. Chu’s Wicked movie, Wicked: For Good, is due out in December—Goldblum will return to his role as The Wizard of Oz. Grande and Erivo will also be back as Glinda and Elphaba, with supporting players including Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater and Michelle Yeoh.
