Jared Leto is responding to the sexual misconduct allegations that have come to light.

If you have not seen the news, a new documentary, titled Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret, is airing on the BBC on Wednesday (July 29), and it details these claims.

More about the sexual misconduct claims against Jared Leto

Four women came forward with allegations, and they all say they were teenagers at the time.

One woman says she was 17 years old when they had sexual relations and, under California law, she was not of the legal age to consent.

She also alleges that when she told Leto this, he “shrugged off” her age. “It wasn’t a huge concern for him,” she apparently said. “He told me, ‘I would like you to call me daddy.’ And it was either pretend to be a little girl or ‘my little girl.’”

Jared Leto responded to these allegations, and denied them

He said in a statement to Just Jared, “I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life. These claims are absolutely and categorically false.”
