NASCAR fans tuning in this weekend may be wondering whether there’s a Cup Series race on today.

After a weekend off, the NASCAR Cup Series is back on Sunday (September 27) for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.

The race marks the fourth event in the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series Chase, as drivers continue their battle for the championship.

Is There a NASCAR Race Today?

Yes! The Hollywood Casino 400 takes place Sunday at Kansas Speedway.

The race is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET.

The race will cover 267 laps and 400.5 miles around the 1.5-mile Kansas Speedway.

Who Is Starting on the Pole?

Joey Logano will start Sunday’s race from the pole, with Kyle Larson joining him on the front row.

Saturday’s Cup Series practice and qualifying sessions were canceled because of rain, meaning NASCAR set the starting lineup using its rulebook metric.

Christopher Bell will start third, followed by Carson Hocevar in fourth and Ty Gibbs in fifth.

The top 10 is rounded out by Denny Hamlin, Bubba Wallace, William Byron, Ryan Preece and Josh Berry.
