Yes, Saturday Night Live is new tonight! The sketch comedy show returns for its season 52 premiere on Saturday, September 26, at 11:30 p.m. ET.

New York Knicks player Jalen Brunson is hosting the show for the first time, while KATSEYE is making their debut as the episode’s musical guest. Jalen was named MVP of the 2026 NBA Finals after helping the Knicks win their first championship in 53 years.

The premiere airs live on NBC and streams live on Peacock at 11:30 p.m. ET. Viewers planning to stream can find the show on Peacock’s Saturday Night Live page. Both options will let you watch the episode as it happens.

The new season also brings two additions to the cast, including Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter. NBC announced that both are joining as featured players.

Who is hosting next week?

Dakota Johnson is set to host the October 3 episode, with Turnstile as musical guest. Shane Gillis and Rosalía are scheduled for October 10. After a two-week break, Inde Navarrette and Gracie Abrams will be the host and musical guest for the October 31 episode.
