Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayRapper Yella Beezy Charged With Hiring Hitman to Murder Musician Mo3
Gabriela Gonzalez is facing serious legal trouble.
The influencer—who goes by Gabbie and boasts more than 400k followers on both TikTok and Instagram—was arrested on May 18 by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigations and is being held without bail, per online records viewed by E! News, for allegedly trying to hire a hit man to kill her ex, musician Jack Avery.
The 24-year-old has been charged, according to records obtained by E! News via the Los Angeles Superior Court, with conspiracy to commit a crime, attempted murder: premeditated and solicitation to commit murder. She was scheduled to appear in court May 19 but there has been no word yet on a plea.
Her father, Francisco Javier Gonzalez, was arrested that same day in Seminole County, Florida, on an out-of-state fugitive warrant tied to California charges, according to People citing jail records and a probable cause affidavit. His charges include conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation of murder.
The affidavit, per People, alleges the scheme was connected to Gabbie and Jack’s custody battle over their 7-year-old daughter, with investigators saying Francisco became “deeply involved” in the conflict and made efforts to “discredit, monitor, and remove” Jack, 26, from his daughter’s life.
The affidavit claims one witness told investigators Francisco once said “to the effect that it would be cheaper if [Jack] were dead.”

Among the allegations against Francisco, 59, in the affidavit are claims he orchestrated a campaign to monitor and photograph Jack’s life in Hawaii in an effort to gather evidence to be used against him in court, communicating with a private investigator to do so and expressing interest in having the Why Don’t We singer arrested if he appeared for visitation with his and Gabbie’s daughter.
In March 2021, while communicating with his family, Francisco allegedly said it was “never too early” to contact a man Gabbie had reportedly sought out in order to threaten her ex. Witnesses reportedly told investigators Gabbie had repeatedly expressed wanting Jack dead, and had discussed seeking out a hit man.
The affidavit alleges Gabbie intended to work with co-conspirator Kai Cordrey, discussing plans to use the dark web and Bitcoin to carry out the murder-for-hire plot, which allegedly included plans to stage Jack’s death to look like a car accident.

Investigators claim Francisco was the primary funding source for the alleged plot, and that in April 2021 he sent Kai $10,000 through Square, in addition to two separate $5,000 sums through a Gemini cryptocurrency account and a fourth $4,000 invoice through the website Site Whisperer.
Kai, meanwhile, reportedly told investigators he and Francisco communicated via Signal messages and calls. The affidavit also alleges Francisco at one time spoke directly with an undercover federal agent who had been posing as a hit man.
As seen in records obtained by E! News, Kai has been charged with the same charges as Gabbie—conspiracy to commit a crime, attempted murder: premeditated and solicitation to commit murder—and has so far not entered a plea.
E! News has reached out to the LA Sherrif’s Office, as well as Florida law enforcement, for comment and has attempted to track down any legal representation for Gabbie, Kai and Francsico.
Meanwhile, in September, Jack revealed the FBI had warned him someone had been trying to kill him.
“They’re like, ‘Jack hasn’t done anything wrong, we think he’s a victim of something,’” Jack recalled during the interview on the Zach Sang Show. “So we end up talking, and someone hired someone to kill me.”
And while he said he “can’t speak on a lot,” including whether he knew the identity of his would-be assassin, Jack did speculate as to why someone would want to have him killed.
As he put it, “To get stress out of their life.”
