Millie Bobby Brown’s husband put his love on display for her special day.
As the Stranger Things actress celebrated her milestone 21st birthday Feb. 19, Jake Bongiovi marked the occasion with a sweet mirror selfie with his wife of nearly a year. In the pic, Millie teases her hair as she strikes a pose in a bikini while Jake stands next to her and holds up the phone.
Celebrating the moment, Jake, 22, captioned the Feb. 19 Instagram post, “Happy 21st baby. I love you so much.”
Jake’s post came days after Millie gushed about their love in honor of Valentine’s Day.
Alongside a never-before-seen picture from their wedding, the actress wrote Feb. 14, “Happy Valentine’s Day to the most handsome husband that’s ever lived. I love you more than anything.”
Millie and Jake said their “I dos” during two separate ceremonies in 2024, one year after the son of Jon Bongiovi popped the question. While the pair have opted to keep the more intimate details of their wedding day private, Millie hasn’t been shy when it comes to sharing what she has learned about love since becoming a wife.
“Loving someone and being in love are two different things,” the Elona Holmes star told Vanity Fair in an interview published Feb. 12. “I think I loved a lot of people I was with, like I loved my friends. But he is the first man I’ve ever loved and been in love with.”
As she put it, “If we’re not fully invested, then what’s the point? We have to be, and we always have been.”
For Millie, making sure she had the tough conversations with Jake prior to walking down the aisle was key.
“We talked about our political views,” she revealed, “what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want.”
Millie continued, “It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”
