[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] A new blush always makes me happy and I’ve been impressed up to now with everything I’ve seen from Haus Labs. Their new Glassy Blush Balm is making me happy on so many levels – it’s easy to use, the colours are divine and the finish is a perfect and I can’t say better than that!

There are 8 glorious shades in the Glassy Blush Balm collection – so far. The shades I have been sent are so summery and face brightening. Using 70% skincare ingredients (fermented arnica and Goji berry complex, to name two) to 30% make up, the texture is instantly at home on the skin. It gives a light bounce rather than a ‘glass’ effect which I absolutely love and because it’s so hydrating, it sits perfectly on the skin so if you’re prone to any dryness, it will only help rather than hinder.

The shades I have from bottom to top are: Glassy Lilac, Glassy Pomelo (favourite!), Glassy Rosette and Glassy Hibiscus. I can wear all of them easily because despite looking highly pigmented, they blend down to something far more subtle (although feel free to build up to brighter if you want). There’s no ‘drag’ as there can sometimes be with a traditional creme blush – this is a seamless delivery that only needs fingertips or a brush to give your cheeks a wash of colour.

I stepped right out of my comfort zone and went for Glassy Lilac to show you and even added some to my lips as well. Glassy Lilac is more of a slightly blue toned bright pink but despite me having neutral undertones, it looked really good. It went on too bright and blended to just right. My natural shade would be Glassy Pomelo – that’s just a joy on the skin making my winter palour look at least a little more lively. I’ll wear it a lot over the summer. You can easily add whatever shade you choose to both lips and a quick swipe over the lids – it’s a mono-look that springs your face into life and I love it. They’re £30 each HERE and I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest for older skin in particular for the way it hydrates and blends over creases so nicely.
