Grammys 2025: Jaden Smith Wears House on His Head in Must-See Red Carpet Look
Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan aren’t crying cowboys over this Grammys loss.
After the “Cowboys Cry Too” singers lost the Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance over Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus’ “II Most Wanted,” ahead of the 2025 ceremony they proved they weren’t letting the Recording Academy’s pick of the Cowboy Carter track get the best of them.
Kelsea, all dressed up for the 67th ceremony at Crypto.com Arena, cheekily filmed herself as she asked Noah in a Feb. 2 Instagram Story, “What does it feel like to lose three awards for the same song?”
To which Noah replied, “You weirdly start to kind of like it. I’m on a losing high right now—woohoo!"
The “Stick Season” singer’s response prompted Kelsea—who has been dating Chase Stokes since 2023—to throw her head back and laugh as the duo made their way to the red carpet. And she added to her fans, “See you at the Grammys!” (See everyone on the red carpet here.)
Before signing off, the “Miss Me More” singer gave her fans a thumbs up and a big smile, proving she also wasn’t too pressed about losing the category.
Of course, the Best Country/Duo Group Performance category was quite stacked. In addition to the aforementioned contenders, Brothers Osborne’s “Break Mine,” Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help,” and Dan + Shay’s “Bigger Houses” were up for the nomination. (See every winner so far here.)
And fans who have been following Beyoncé’s recent switch back into country won’t be too surprised that she nabbed one of the genre’s biggest awards of the night. After all, Cowboy Carter earned Queen Bey 11 nominations, including nods in the biggest categories like Album of the Year as well as Song of the Year and Record of the Year for “Texas Hold ‘Em.”

The 43-year-old’s hit track was also up for Best Country Song, but was ultimately bested by Kacey Musgraves’ “The Architect,” from her Deeper Well album.
But while Beyoncé is already starting Grammys 2025 on a high note, Miley earning the nod beside her is also a huge feat for the Disney alum. The duo’s win marks Miley’s third Grammys win after over 10 years in the industry, after she took home her first wins at the 2024 ceremony for “Flowers."
Wins may already be rolling out, but tonight’s ceremony, hosted by Trevor Noah, has only just begun. Keep reading for the biggest stars’ arrivals on the red carpet
