Spoilers for what happens on General Hospital today on August 5, 2025
Anna learns Joss is on a dangerous mission
Anna finally unmasks her kidnapper and finds herself in WSB Director Brennan’s office. He reveals that he’s “saving” her from the fallout of a Level-5 Op by keeping her detained. Why? Brennan discloses that Joss is currently in Croatia with Vaughn, working undercover on a cold fusion project led by Henry Dalton.
Anna is furious to learn her granddaughter is involved in a high-risk mission and accuses Brennan of putting Joss in danger. Brennan warns her that any interference would be considered treason. Anna backs down but vows that Carly won’t stay silent once she finds out what Brennan has done.
Later, when Brennan says the mission is a simple reconnaissance at a resort in Dalmatia, Anna recalls Jason once mentioning a logo from Britt’s bag — the same resort. Suddenly, it all clicks.
Michael suspects Willow targeted Daisy
Michael and Dante return to the Q mansion after a run, and Michael drops a shocking theory — he suspects Willow orchestrated the attack on Daisy as revenge for losing her children. If true, he believes it could shift the entire custody dynamic. Michael worries about Wiley and Amelia.
Willow breaks down and apologizes to Carly
At the hospital, Willow has an emotional conversation with Chase. She misses her children and admits to past mistakes, especially showing up at Carly’s. Later, she runs into Carly and apologizes, but Carly remains unmoved, saying her words remind her too much of her sister Nelle’s.
Sidwell threatens Sonny’s future
Sidwell confides in Marco that he has leverage. He once blackmailed the judge in Michael’s custody case. If that news comes out, it could make Sonny look like he paid for the ruling, giving Willow the upper hand. Sidwell hints that Sonny will have to “play ball” when the time is right.
