What’s House of the Dragon’s newest feature on HBO Max?
As of today, the first season of House of the Dragon is now available to stream in American Sign Language (ASL) on HBO Max. The Season 1 ASL is performed by ASL dubber Landen Gonzales (Deaf West Theatre’s American Idiot), with Justin Jackerson (Wuthering Heights with ASL) serving as ASL director.
Season 2 will also receive an ASL version on June 15 performed by ASL dubber Sophia Morales (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice with ASL). Meanwhile, Season 3 with ASL will debut alongside new episodes of the series each week in the US and EMEA, starting on June 21. Both Morales and Gonzales will work on the third season with Jackerson.
House of the Dragon Season 3 features returning cast members Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra, Matt Smith as Daemon, Olivia Cooke as Alicent, Rhys Ifans as Otto, Steve Toussaint as Corlys, Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria, Fabien Frankel as Criston Cole, Harry Collett as Jace, Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon II, Ewan Mitchell as Aemond, Bethany Antonia as Baela, Phoebe Campbell as Rhaena, Phia Saban as Helaena, Tom Bennett as Ulf White, and Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne. They will be joined by new cast members Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy) as Ser Roderick Dustin, Dan Fogler (The Walking Dead) as Ser Torrhen Manderly, and James Norton (Little Women) as Ormund Hightower.
The Game of Thrones prequel chronicles the rise and the downfall of the Targaryens, based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood novel. The spin-off is created by Martin and showrunner Ryan Condal, who are executive producing alongside Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett.
