A new teaser trailer for Marvel Television’s Eyes of Wakanda has been released.

Eyes of Wakanda is the new animated Marvel show set in the world of Black Panther’s Wakanda. It will be an anthology project, meaning each episode will be a short story set in a different time period.

What happens in the Eyes of Wakanda teaser trailer?

The Eyes of Wakanda MCU teaser trailer offers some new footage of different Wakandan warriors. The voice over teases that “many secrets” will be revealed over the course of the show’s four episodes.

“Marvel Animation’s new action-adventure series Eyes of Wakanda follows the adventures of brave Wakandan warriors throughout history,” the synopsis for the show reads. “In this globe-trotting adventure, the heroes must carry out dangerous missions to retrieve Vibranium artifacts from the enemies of Wakanda. They are the Hatut Zaraze, and this is their story.”

Ryan Coogler, who directed 2018’s Black Panther and 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, serves as an executive producer on Eyes of Wakanda. Other executive producers include Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Kalia King, Todd Harris, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt.

The show’s voice cast features Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint, and Anika Noni Rose.

Writer Marc Bernardin recently told SuperHeroHype about the series, “I think that Ryan very much digs the show. And I think if you like what Ryan has done with Wakanda, if you like what Ryan has done with the Black Panther movies, then it should sort of fit hand in glove. The mesh should hold. I think you’ll dig it. And I don’t think you’ll expect what it is. But, once you get it, I think you’ll have a good time.”

Marvel Studios‘ Eyes of Wakanda premieres on Disney+ on August 27, 2025.
