Netflix has shared the full Untamed trailer for its newest murder mystery led by Eric Bana (Black Hawk Down, Troy). The limited series is scheduled to make its debut on July 17, 2025.

What happens in the Untamed trailer?

The video features Bana as a special agent for the National Parks Service tasked to investigate a mysterious death of a woman whose body was discovered at the park. His investigation leads him to uncover more killings, as the dark secrets of the Yosemite National Park get slowly revealed. Joining Bana in the series are Sam Neill (Jurassic Park) as Paul Souter, Rosemarie DeWitt (La La Land) as Jill Bodwin, Lily Santiago (La Brea) as Naya Vasquez, Wilson Bethel (All Rise) as Shane Maguire, and William Smillie as Bruce Milch.

“The series follows Kyle Turner, a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past,” reads the official synopsis.

Described as character-driven thriller, Untamed is created, written, and executive produced by showrunners Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith. In addition to leading the cast, Bana is also serving as an executive producer alongside John Wells Productions’ Wells and Erin Jontow, Escape Artists Entertainment’s Todd Black and Tony Shaw, Bee Holder Productions’ Steve Lee Jones, and Syndicate Entertainment’s Cliff Roberts. It is a co-production with Warner Bros. Television Studios.
