The lawyers of Dolly Parton’s nephew Bryan Seaver dragged the late singer’s manager, Danny Nozell, for involving the security official in a legal dispute while the family is still in mourning.

“Mr. Seaver has always been a private person, but he was chosen by his aunt, with his family’s
approval, to make the announcement about Dolly’s passing,” attorneys Dominic J. Leonardo and James L. Collier exclusively told Page Six in a statement on behalf of Seaver.

“He would have preferred to remain a private person as this ordeal has taken a toll on his family,” the statement continued.

The legal eagles explained that the dispute arose between Seaver, described as a family member “also in charge of Dolly’s private security,” and her business manager, Danny Nozell. (The statement did not identify Nozell by name.)

“While the family was grieving, the business manager went to Court and the media with a surprising and incomplete story,” the lawyers continued, adding, “Seeing text messages that are misleading and taken out of context has been very hurtful to our client and his family.”

They also claimed that the manager’s restraining order against Seaver was “granted ‘Ex Parte'” — a legal term meaning that the court hadn’t yet heard Seaver’s “side of the story, which is coming.”

“While Mr. Seaver and family work through this they trust the bright light of Dolly’s legacy remains untouched and they are eager to amicably and expeditiously resolve this matter,” the statement concluded.

As Page Six previously reported, Nozell fired Seaver as the head of security last month. Nozell and Parton’s estate entity, She’s Alive, LLC, also filed a restraining order against him.

The manager, who worked with Parton for more than two decades, expressed fears over Seaver’s alleged threatening text messages, which caused employees of his management company to stop going into the office, according to documents obtained by Page Six.

Per the filing, Seaver is accused of “invoking his self-proclaimed military-contractor experience, access to weapons, and capacity for violence” to demand money.

He is also accused of sending allegedly threatening text messages with explicit language.

In one alleged text, Seaver wrote, “I’m going to go to Billboard Magazine with my s–t. Just like you. I’m going to ratf–k every [Dollywood business partner] entity I can possibly conjure.”

The management team claimed Seaver was trying to “sabotage a core business relationship.”

Additionally, Seaver is accused of intimidating and harassing staffers at Parton’s Nashville hotel and museum.

Page Six also exclusively reported that Seaver allegedly sent an expletive-filled message in an email chain titled “Fwd: Letter from Dolly,” just days before her death.

If you think my harsh language is too much for you or your failing vendors to digest, just wait until my lawyers start f–king you up the ass,” Seaver allegedly wrote in an email sent on August 21.

Elsewhere in the note, Seaver allegedly wrote, “Let’s play ball you f–king s–tbag loser,” and “Why is your side of this project continually f–ked up and behind the curve?”

Last week, a judge granted Seaver’s request to delay his court hearing. He is due in court on October 20.

Parton died after a secret battle with cancer on August 25, leaving behind a $450 million estate. She was 80.

Seaver was notably the person to announce the songwriter’s passing to the world in an Instagram video.
