Deadpool & Wolverine’s breakout villain just revealed the one Marvel spin-off they’re desperate to make. Emma Corrin shared an unexpected pitch for their character’s future during a recent interview.

Deadpool & Wolverine’s Emma Corrin wants a Professor X and Cassandra Nova spin-off

Emma Corrin wants Marvel Studios to explore the sibling dynamic between Cassandra Nova and Professor X. The actor shared this wish during a recent interview with Variety.

Corrin played the telepathic villain Cassandra Nova in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine alongside Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The actor described the massive production as overwhelming yet thrilling throughout filming. “I felt like I was at some kind of theme park all the time because things were just so overwhelming and I was like, ‘This cannot be real. I must be walking around with a visitor’s pass. Like, I can’t belong here,'” Corrin said.

The actor shaved their head for the role and embraced the character’s restrained menace. Director Shawn Levy encouraged Corrin to keep Cassandra poised and difficult to read on screen. “I remember I kept saying to Shawn like, ‘I can do it like bigger or like weirder or creepier or more evil.’ He was like, ‘No, no,'” Corrin recalled.

Cassandra Nova dies at the end of Deadpool & Wolverine, but death rarely stays permanent in Marvel. Corrin expressed clear enthusiasm about potentially returning to the role in the future. “I absolutely would, 100%. I think her story’s not over,” Corrin stated.

The actor then pitched a specific concept for a potential spinoff featuring the characters. “I would like to see a Professor X and Cassandra Nova bonding film, a sibling comedy like ‘Step Brothers.’ Make it happen! Internet, do your thing!” Corrin added.

Reynolds, Jackman, and Levy helped Corrin feel welcome on the enormous set during production. The trio invited Corrin to spend time together whenever they were in the same city before filming began. “They did so much to make me feel like I was stepping into something that wasn’t daunting at all but was just like a playground,” Corrin said.
