The September 25 edition of NYT Connections is back with another difficult puzzle that might stump you. But if you need help to crack it, we’ve got some clues and hints that’ll do the trick.

The New York Times’ Games collection offers Connections, one of its most popular online puzzles. It presents 16 words for the players to sort into groups of four. Each color-coded group follows a different hidden theme that fans must identify and select the words accordingly. However, players get only four guesses to make the choices. But the game offers a helpful “one away…” pop-up as a hint.

New players might want to start sorting out the yellow group first, as it often follows the easiest theme to figure out. Meanwhile, they can leave the purple group for last, as it is usually the trickiest of the lot.

Check out the hints and answers for September 25’s Connections puzzle.
