Oscars 2025 Best Dressed: Cynthia Erivo, Zoë Saldaña & More Red Carpet Looks
These stars don't need a yellow brick road to find this dazzling soirée.
Elton John hosted his 2025 Oscars viewing party at West Hollywood Park March 2 with the help of his husband David Furnish and hosts Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jean Smart, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.
The 33rd annual event, which supports the Elton John AIDs Foundation, wasn't complete without Chappell Roan's electric music to set the mood for the evening of glitz and glamour. And Chappell couldn't help but gush over the opportunity to perform, telling the nonprofit ahead of her performance, "I'm absolutely glowing."
"Elton and his husband, David, have been incredible guiding lights for me this year, showing me a love that has truly helped me through," she continued. "I can't wait to bring an unabashedly gay performance to such an iconic night!"
Along with dinner and an auction—which helped raise funds to provide resources for marginalized communities affected by HIV and AIDs—attendees tuned in to watch the 97th annual ceremony hosted by Conan O'Brien. (See the full list of winners so far here and all the stars' red carpet looks here.)
It's an evening to remember as viewers see which stars take home the golden statuette. For instance, Emilia Pérez led the pack with 13 nominations, including Best Picture, Karla Sofía Gascón for Best Actress in a Leading Role and Zoe Saldaña for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and Selena Gomez's song "Mi Camina" in Best Original Song and more.
The Netflix film will go head-to-head ahead with Wicked—which earned 10 nominations—for Best Picture, Best Actress in a Leading Role (Cynthia Erivo) and Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Ariana Grande).

Meanwhile, The Substance could be the first horror film to win Best Picture since 1991's The Silence of the Lambs. Although the genre is often shut out of most categories, Demi Moore's award-winning performance—which earned her a Critics Choice Award, a Golden Globe, a SAG Award, as well as a BAFTA nomination—could mean the film goes for gold.
That's not all, however. Beyond trophies, the ceremony will have attendees dancing through life to some of the most popular songs this past year. For instance, Cynthia and Ariana will be defying gravity with their duet in addition to unforgettable performances from Doja Cat, LISA, Queen Latifah and Raye.
Now, read on to see all the stars who celebrated the 2025 Oscars for a golden cause.
