Chappell Roan has left her talent agency after its founder, Casey Wasserman, was named in the Epstein files.

“As of today, I am no longer represented by Wasserman, the talent agency led by Casey Wasserman,” the “Pink Pony Club” singer, 27, wrote on her Instagram Stories Monday.

“I hold my teams to the highest standards and have a duty to protect them as well. No artist, agent or employee should ever be expected to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values,” she continued. “I have deep respect and appreciation for the agents and staff who work tirelessly for their artists and I refuse to passively stand by.”

The Grammy winner added, “Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity. This decision reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.”

The Wasserman Group is a talent agency that represents powerhouse clients like Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Kasey Musgraves, Lorde and Pharrell.

The company’s client roster list has been taken down from its website amid the news.

Like Roan, indie rock groups Wednesday, Beach Bunny and Water From Your Eye have cut ties with the agency and called for Wasserman, 51, to step down from the company he’s run since 2002.

“We are demanding for Wasserman to remove himself and his name from the agency,” Beach Bunny  wrote on social media Sunday. “Continuing to be represented by a company led by and named after Casey Wasserman goes against our values and cannot continue.”

Wasserman has also been called on to resign as Chairman and President of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games by three Los Angeles City Council members, LA County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath and state Senator Lena Gonzalez, according to the Los Angeles Times.

“LA28 has lauded the likelihood of having more women participate in the Olympic and Paralympic Games than ever before in history,” Horvath told the outlet. “What does that mean when the organization is led by an intimate friend of a convicted human trafficker? Now is the time for LA28 to demonstrate how much they truly value women.”

The more than three million Epstein files released by the Department of Justice on Jan. 30 include email correspondence between Wasserman and Jeffrey Epstein’s right-hand woman, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving 20 years for sex trafficking.

Wasserman has not been accused of wrongdoing.

According to the BBC, Wasserman wrote to Maxwell in 2003: “I think of you all the time… So what do I have to do to see you in a tight leather outfit?”

In another email, Maxwell offered Wasserman a massage that could “drive a man wild.”

In a statement to the New York Times on Sunday, Wasserman apologized for his association with Maxwell, 64, and Epstein, who died in prison in 2019.

“I deeply regret my correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell, which took place over two decades ago, long before her horrific crimes came to light,” the CEO said.

“I never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. As is well documented, I went on a humanitarian trip as part of a delegation with the Clinton Foundation in 2002 on the Epstein plane.”

He added, “I am terribly sorry for having any association with either of them.”
