After recently saying that he’s a “distraction” to fiancée Sharna Burgess as she competes on season 35 of Dancing with the Stars with partner Tyler Cameron, the 53-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 alum is now explaining why he’s cut back visiting Sharna, 41, on set.
“I was there a lot in the beginning,” Brian told Us Weekly. However, he said that the ABC production “has cracked down a little bit on young kids being there.”

Brian and Austin are parents to 4-year-old son Zane while Brian also has four other sons from past relationships: 24-year-old son Kassius with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil and sons Noah, 14, Bodhi, 12, and Journey, 10, with ex-wife Megan Fox.
The Anger Management actor also noted that traveling from their home in Malibu to the Dancing with the Stars studios every Tuesday has been “a little harder” since he “can’t be there with Zane and the kids.”
“So we have found a time when it works where they can be home with someone, and I can go,” Brian added.
Whether he’s there in-person or watching at home, Briana said that he’s “always rooting” for Sharna and Tyler.

Brian‘s new comments come after he recently complained on social media how “incredibly lonely” he’s been since Sharna decided to return to DWTS. Season 35 marks the Australian pro dancer’s return to the show for the first time since season 30 in 2021, during which she competed with Brian.
Following Brian‘s comments about feeling “lonely” and calling himself a “distraction” to Sharna as she focuses on dancing with Tyler, a past Dancing with the Stars winner slammed Brian for his comments and said that he’s “humiliated” Sharna.
