Brad Pitt and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, were in attendance at the NASCAR Cup Series Chase Bass Pro Shops Night Race on Saturday (September 19) at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tenn.

The 62-year-old actor served as the Grand Marshal alongside Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris for the race and gave the start call in promotion of his new movie Heart of the Beast.

Ahead of the race, Brad and Ines attended the drivers’ meeting, and he was also seen meeting up with retired NFL star Russell Wilson.

“It’s pretty special to welcome our fellow Springfield, Missouri, native to Bristol for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race,” Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris previously shared in a statement about Brad being at the race. “So many people still remember Brad’s role in A River Runs Through It, a film that helped inspire a deeper appreciation for fly-fishing and the importance of conserving the rivers and wild places that make those experiences possible. This race is one of the most exciting nights in sports, and we’re proud to have Brad join us as we salute conservation and honor the brave veterans, first responders and the men and women who serve our country and communities.”

A few days earlier, Brad wore a camouflage suit for the Heart of the Beast premiere in Franklin, Tenn., where he was also joined by Ines.

In the upcoming movie, Brad plays Special Forces officer James Belmont, who, along with his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded in the Alaskan wilderness after a harrowing plane crash.

“Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements.”

The new movie is directed by David Ayer and is an “adventure thriller that explores the unbreakable bond between a man and his best friend as they face their greatest battle yet.”

Heart of the Beast hits theaters on September 25th. Watch the trailer here!
