Another brand new episode of Big Brother is set to air this evening (August 12), and based on the live feeds, there is so much in store for the houseguests in the coming episodes!

On Sunday (August 9), CBS aired the episode announcing the newest Head of Household and the three nominees.

Because of the live feeds, we actually already know what’s going to happen on tonight’s episode, including who wins the Power of Veto competition, and if they use the Power of Veto to change any of the nominees.

We’re recapping all of the spoilers you need to know!

Who wins Head of Household for week 5 of Big Brother season 28?

LaTrice Verrett, aka Lala, is the Head of Household winner!

She made history as the oldest female houseguest to ever win the Wall Comp challenge. If you don’t know, Lala is 58 years old.

Who did Lala nominate for eviction in week 5 of Big Brother season 28?

Barrett Pfeiffer – Nominated for eviction in week 5 of Big Brother 28

Barrett Pfeiffer is a first-time nominee, thanks to Lala.

Haley Thogmartin – Nominated for eviction in week 5 of Big Brother 28

Haley Thogmartin hit the block for the first time ever, thanks to Lala.

Chuk Anyanwu – Nominated for eviction in week 5 of Big Brother 28

Chuk Anyanwu hit the block for the first time ever, thanks to Lala.

Originally, Lala was considering putting up Barrett Pfeiffer, Drew Campbell, and Kamu Kirk. Kamu made a strong pitch to remain off the block, and Lala obviously saw the value in keeping him safe this week. She ended up pivoting to Chuk and Haley.

Who won the Power of Veto competition for week 5 of Big Brother 28?

Kamu Kirk won the Power of Veto competition, guaranteeing he’ll be safe from eviction this week.

Does Kamu Kirk use the Power of Veto on any of the nominees?

No! Kamu chooses to keep nominations the exact same, which we’ll see play out tonight (August 12).

Who will be evicted on Big Brother season 28 week five?

We won’t know this information until Thursday’s live episode. The BB Blockbuster will determine which houseguest gets removed from the block. Stay tuned!
