Beyoncé made a surprise appearance during husband Jay-Z‘s opening night at Yankee Stadium!

The 44-year-old “Texas Hold ‘Em” superstar joined Jay-Z, 56, onstage during his JAY-Z 30 concert on Friday night (July 10) in New York City.

Video shared on social media shows Beyoncé performing onstage as the crowd cheers for the couple. She reportedly came onstage to sing Mary J. Blige‘s verses from “Can’t Knock the Hustle.”

The song is featured on Jay-Z‘s 1996 debut album Reasonable Doubt, which just celebrated its 30th anniversary. Friday night’s concert was in commemoration of the album, while Saturday’s concert will celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. He will close out the run with an “Extra Innings” show on Sunday.

Beyoncé‘s appearance comes less than a week after she surprise-released her new song “Morning Dew (Donk)” on July 4.

The previously unreleased track will appear on the 20th-anniversary edition of her 2006 album B’Day, which is scheduled to arrive on September 4. It marks her first new material since the release of Cowboy Carter in 2024.

Beyoncé was also spotted supporting her husband in New York City in June while he celebrated the anniversary of Reasonable Doubt and promoted his upcoming concerts.
