A widely speculated Batman show has received an update on its fate. Just days before My Adventures with Superman Season 3’s premiere, showrunner Jake Wyatt addressed whether a potential spinoff featuring the Dark Knight could happen.

Is My Adventures with Batman ever going to happen?

Last month, DC revealed the trailer for the third season of the animated TV show My Adventures with Superman from Adult Swim. Fans will also be getting a spinoff series, My Adventures with Green Lantern. Naturally, one would think of a Batman show to follow next in this franchise.

However, a My Adventures with Batman DC show hasn’t been announced yet. A lot of fans want it to come out in the near future. Showrunners of My Adventures With Superman, Jake Wyatt and Brendan Clougher, are aware of the buzz.

In a recent interview with Comicbook, they addressed whether the Dark Knight could receive his own series under the My Adventures banner. Jake revealed, “Brendan does have a good Batman take. It could just be an episode one-off or a full series, but right now, Batman is a little booked up.”

He added, “We love Superman and the Super-Family, but we’re always happy to expand on the universe. What does ‘Blank hero’ look like in the Adventure-verse is a super fun question.”

This suggests that fans hoping for My Adventures with Batman may have to wait a while longer. At the moment, the showrunners have no plans to move forward with the project. Rather, they want to explore lesser-known characters from the DC Comics.

Jake said, “We’re more interested in the B-Side characters. It would be cool to do a Darkman take. I love Adam Strange, and I would love to do a stupid John Carter take on the character.”

My Adventures with Superman is set to release on June 13, 2026, on Adult Swim. It will also be available to stream on HBO Max. As for My Adventures with Green Lantern, it has yet to receive an official release date window.
