How Jennifer Lawrence figured out the Summer House reunion leak

Andy Cohen recently revealed that Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence was instrumental in helping identify the person behind the leaked Summer House reunion audio. The leak attracted widespread attention online.

“There’s been a lot of speculation about who that super fan was, including the wild theory that it was actress Jennifer Lawrence,” Andy Cohen said on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live. “I wanted to personally thank that super fan. Folks, that super fan was indeed Jennifer Lawrence. … Her online sleuthing helped our team solve this mystery.”

Lawrence, a longtime Bravo fan, has made several appearances on WWHL to discuss Bravo shows such as Housewives, Summer House, and Vanderpump Rules.

The leak was reportedly the first of its kind to affect the network. Moreover, the mystery surrounding it, including who helped identify the source, continued for some time.

The leaked clip reportedly featured a heated exchange between several cast members, including Amanda Batula and West Wilson.

After Bravo identified the source of the leak, the network released a statement but did not mention Lawrence. “An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion,” they wrote in a statement shared on Instagram. “As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken. There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio,” the statement further added.
