Aaron Taylor-Johnson took to social media to celebrate the birthday of his wife, Sam Taylor-Johnson, who recently celebrated her 58th birthday.

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Aaron praised his wife, wishing a happy birthday to his “gorgeous” other half and saying that he loved “spending every moment with you.” In the post, Aaron shared a variety of photos of Sam, including several of the pair together.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam met in 2009, on the set of the film Nowhere Boy, which Sam directed and also served as her directorial debut. Together, the pair have two children, Wylda, 12, and Romy, 12. While the pair’s age gap has often been a topic of discussion amongst their relationship, Sam said that it doesn’t come up often amongst those who know them.

“It comes up on the outside perspective of people who don’t know us,” Sam said in an interview with The Guardian last year. “We’re a bit of an anomaly, but it’s that thing: after 14 years you just think, surely by now, it doesn’t really matter?”
