Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom coming to Peacock next month

Peacock recently announced that the platform will be adding two Chris Pratt blockbusters to its library. Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will join the platform’s streaming lineup in January 2026. According to ComicBook.com, Fallen Kingdom will become available first, arriving on January 1, 2026, followed by the first Jurassic World movie on January 16, 2026.

In Jurassic World, the dinosaur theme park seen in Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park is reopened under new leadership, promising a controlled and profitable return to John Hammond’s original vision. However, when a genetically engineered dinosaur escapes containment, the park’s security systems fail, forcing staff and visitors into a desperate fight for survival. As chaos spreads across the island, a dinosaur trainer, Owen Grady, and the park’s operations head, Claire Dearing, attempt to contain the disaster. The film holds a 72 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 357 reviews.

Fallen Kingdom picks up three years after the park’s destruction. Isla Nublar faces a new threat when a long-dormant volcano shows signs of imminent eruption. With dinosaurs once again facing extinction, Owen and Claire return to the island as part of a mission to relocate the remaining animals. Their mission gradually reveals a larger conspiracy involving the exploitation of dinosaurs. The sequel carries a 47 percent Rotten Tomatoes rating, based on 430 reviews.

Both films star Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the lead roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. Supporting cast members across the two installments include Vincent D’Onofrio as Vic Hoskins, Rafe Spall as Eli Mills, and Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, among others.

Commercially, the films were major box office successes. Jurassic World earned about $1.6 billion worldwide, while Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom followed with a global take exceeding $1.3 billion.
